Mehran Assadi has formed a new team and charged it with strengthening and deepening our Do Good purpose throughout the company.

The new Culture Team is made up of close to three dozen people from both the Texas and Vermont campuses representing pretty much every business area at National Life.

The members of the team all share Mehran’s vision that a mission-driven company, one that is committed to a cause larger than itself, is a successful one.

So, to that end, the Culture Team spent two days this week on the Vermont campus strategizing and thinking about ways to get us all involved even more deeply in driving National Life to that higher calling.

Their mission was pretty straightforward: “To carry our culture to every colleague in our company.”

The focus will continue to be simple and is the foundation on which the culture is built: To Do good. Be good. Make good.

The Culture Team strategized ideas about how to double-down on celebrating the good in all that we do every day, both for our customers and our community, but also for one another. And it set a pretty ambitious and straightforward goal, that we’re All In.

Building on the One Million Delighted Customers that is the heart of our 2020 vision, the culture team set a goal of 1,100+ Delighted Employees.

You’ll be hearing a lot more about the team’s initiatives in the weeks and months to come.
