The Worksite Wellness Award was presented by the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports at their annual conference in Burlington, Vermont.
Vermont Department of Health Commissioner Mark Levine notified CEO Mehran Assadi that National Life had won the Governor’s Excellence prior to the conference.
Levine’s congratulatory letter stated, “The annual Worksite Wellness Awards create a standard of excellence for worksite wellness initiatives, and recognizes Vermont employers’ efforts to enhance productivity, bolster a healthy environment, and improve employee well being. Wellness committees are key to the success of worksite wellness initiatives. We especially thank the outstanding individuals in your organization that serve on your wellness committee.”
