The award was presented by the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports at their annual conference in Burlington, Vermont.
Gov. Phil Scott informed CEO Mehran Assadi that National Life had won the Governor’s Excellence prior to the conference.
“These awards highlight work sites around the state and their efforts to promote the health and wellness of employees,” the governor wrote.
The awards call out the committees at individual employers that organize wellness activities.
At National Life, the committee members who were recognized were: Janis Blais, Sandy Colvin, Christine Copeland, Tammy Davis, Heather Funk-Clark, Mark Bates, Colin Pomer, Dan Dowling, Rory McDonald, Kathy Tyner, Amela Varga, Tom Yefchak, Mallorie Lyford, Dena Jackson and Tracey Ullom.
