The National Life public website at www.nationallife.com has won a 2017 Outstanding Website Award from the Web Marketing Association in the Financial Services category.

The award recognizes the hard work of the Digital and Design team – partnering closely with IT, Corporate Communications and other business partners – to complete a design refresh and move to the cloud on our new Sitecore content management platform last spring.

The award recognizes achievement based on seven criteria of design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use.

Entries are judged on a scale of 0 – 10 points in each category.

National Life’s score was 61 out of 70, 22% higher than the category average and almost 13% higher than the scores for all categories.

Our highest scores were received in the areas of ease of use, copywriting and interactivity.

Past winners in the Financial Services category include John Hancock, American Express, Sun Life, Prudential Financial and Edward Jones.

The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and development of the best websites on the World Wide Web.

The organization is made up of Internet marketing, online advertising, PR, and top web site design professionals who share an interest in improving the quality of online advertising, internet marketing, and website promotion.
