A team from ESI packed 6,232 pounds of salvage, or grocery store donations, while volunteering at the Vermont Foodbank, which amounts to over 9,445 meals for hungry Vermonters. That’s a productive Wednesday! You should all feel so proud of your hard work and dedication to fighting hunger.  The work you did yesterday translates to individuals and families all over receiving nourishing food and that is awesome.

There is no one face of hunger. Hungry Vermonters are your neighbors, friends, and family so each box you sort and back you pack is getting us that much closer to reaching each person in need. We are on track to distribute a record-breaking 12.5 million pounds of food this year and that is thanks to YOU.

Thank you again for donating your time to fighting hunger in Vermont and special thanks to you, Jean Smith, for organizing this great day.
