This past Saturday, fourteen fellow Do Gooders donned their National Life green t-shirts and traveled to Fenway Park for the 2017 Spartan Sprint.

The race consisted of more than 20 obstacles ranging from push-ups to rope climbs to running on the field over a distance of approximately 3 miles inside the confines of Fenway Park. If an individual did not complete an obstacle, the penalty was 30 burpees (push up + jump up = 1 burpee).

The team proudly represented National Life and finished 27th out of about 500 teams competing during that time slot. It was truly a team effort, as each competitor cheered on and encouraged their fellow teammates as they made their way through the gauntlet of obstacles.

The team consisted of Jeff Barron, Erin Blosser, Erika George, Mallorie Lyford, Rory McDonald, Mlungisi Ndwandwe, Laurie Noyes, Aaron Pires, Colin Pomer, Vikki Soutiere, Greg Trombly, Laurie Trombly, Katy Tyner and Monique Vincent.

Make sure to give them a high-five for their accomplishments when you see them around the office.
