National Life Group was recognized this week for its philanthropic work and commitment to community.
The Northern New England Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals presented the Outstanding Corporation Award to National Life.
The presentation was part of the association’s annual National Philanthropy Day.
Leaders of the Vermont Foodbank nominated National Life for the honor because of the charitable foundation’s emerging work to tackle childhood hunger.
In addition to National Life, the association also honored Donna and Jake Carpenter of Burton Snowboards for their work through their own philanthropic organization, the Chill Foundation.
