National Life made a $35,000 donation to the Branches of Hope cancer patient fund at Central Vermont Medical Center in lieu of the Do Good Fest this summer.
The annual music festival on the company’s lawn, which has raised money for the cancer patient fund, was canceled again this year because of ongoing concerns about the Covid-19 pandemic.
Just as it did last year when the Do Good Fest was also canceled, National Life donated $35,000 to ensure that cancer patients have a resource to turn to when going through treatment.
The first Do Good Fest was held in 2014 and since then more than $255,000 has been raised for Branches of Hope.
Chris Graff, Vice President of Corporate Communications, made the presentation of this year’s donation at the National Life Cancer Treatment Center at the hospital, pictured above.
