The National Life Group Foundation board approved about a dozen large grants in a meeting late last week, bringing the Foundation’s total donations so far this year to nearly $1.8 million.
We haven’t publicized most of the grants, yet, because we’re still in the process of informing all of our grant applicants.
But we wanted to give everyone in the company a status report.
Approved grants range from the very small – as little as $500 – to much more substantial. One of the grants, for example, will total $200,000 over two years.
The grants are spread between Vermont and the Dallas region because that’s where we work and live. They’re in rough proportion to the number of employees on each campus.
The Foundation plans public announcements over the next few weeks and we’ll be able to provide more details as that happens.
