CEO Mehran Assadi has agreed to serve on an advisory committee at the University of Vermont focused on work force engagement.

The university recently created a new Office of Engagement with funding provided by the Vermont Legislature.

The office is intended to create partnerships among the university, state government, private business and nonprofit organizations to promote workforce development, retention and growth.

In addition to Mehran, the advisory committee includes former Vermont Gov. Jim Douglas, who serves on the National Life Board of Directors.
