Do you still have paid volunteer hours left for 2017? Are you looking for ways that you can do good with those hours?
The Volunteer committee is organizing a series of events in the last months of the year to help everyone use their 40 hours of paid volunteer time.
This year, the sign up process will be a little different.
Instead of completing a survey, please email the Vermont Volunteer Committee and the Texas Volunteer Committee to sign up for an event and you’ll receive a meeting invite with all of the info that you will need.
We’ll continue to update the list of events every week, so stay tuned for more to come.
Vermont Campus Events:
Central VT Habitat for Humanity
Location: Cabot, VT
Event Info: Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity will be partnering with Vermont Center for Independent Living (VCIL) to build a ramp.
Date: Wednesday September 27th to Sunday October 1st
Time: 9:00am-4:00pm
Number of volunteers needed: 4 per day
Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice
Location: Northfield, VT
Event Info: Volunteers will be asked to work for 1 ½ – 2 hour shifts at the CVHHH health clinics.
They will be responsible for greeting guests, directing guests within the location, and assisting as needed with paperwork.
Date: October 6th
Time: 9:30-11:00

Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice
Location: Plainfield, VT
Event Info: Volunteers will be asked to work for 1 ½ – 2 hour shifts at the CVHHH health clinics.

Event Info: Sorting and boxing food in the Foodbank’s warehouse.
