Several leadership changes were announced in the Finance and Management Group this week.
Crystal Dermody Waldo
Crystal Dermody Waldo will join the Customer Innovation Group us as the Manager of the Quality department and will report to Oran Blumenfeld.
Crystal has been with National Life Group in our Financial Management team for more 9 years. Most recently she was director of financial reporting where she led the reporting process for our consolidated company and our insurance entities. Prior to joining National Life, Crystal was a technical accounting lead at IBM.
She will continue to spend 50 percent of her time with FMG through the year-end reporting in March.
Crystal has a bachelor’s degree from Plattsburgh State University of New York and has a Certified Management Accountant designation from the Institute of Management Accountants. Crystal lives in Randolph with her family including her husband Ron and (almost) 3 year old son Lucas.
Eric Kucinskas
Eric Kucinskas and Jaime Steinhart have been promoted in FMG to Director of Financial Reporting.
Jaime and Eric will co-lead the financial reporting group for the organization. Investment accounting and new derivative work will report through Eric, who will continue to manage the ESI and Sentinel financials. Jaime will lead our reporting for all other GAAP and statutory financial statements.

Jaime and Eric are bright, young leaders who have demonstrated they are ready to take on more responsibility and direct the group into the future as our reporting function grows.
