Cathy Shires is pleased to announce the promotion of Nicholas Bruno to Actuarial Analyst II. Nick joined National Life Group in October 2015 as a Support Clerk. He was able to quickly add value to the team showing his ability to solve problems and provide sound analytics around complex concepts. He was employed as an Actuarial Analyst I on February 1, 2016. Since that time, Nick has continuously taken on more responsibility providing all the ALFA projections leading up to the Longhorn transaction and being a major contributor to the whitepaper and providing the projections and authoring the Longhorn Feasibility Study. In addition he took a lead role in testing and documenting the Actuarial Illustration testing for LSW. He takes a lead position and represents the Inforce Management team in a number of company-wide initiatives. Nick has embraced learning all aspects of the Life and Annuities products and continuously looks to improve the processes and end results.

Mike Richardson is pleased to announce the promotion of Colin Clifford to Associate Director. Colin joined National Life Group in August 2010 as a Proposal Design Consultant I in the Product Implementation department. Colin was promoted to a Proposal Design Consultant II in March 2013. Colin has been instrumental in developing transformed illustrations encompassing a more customer focused look. He has taken the lead on many critical projects that have developed him well in his journey to become a manager for the illustration team. The servant leadership tenet that describes Colin best is his ability to deliver high-quality service to the organization consistently.
Colin graduated from Norwich University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

Lauren Heyl is pleased to announce the promotion of Joe Dorman to Actuarial Systems Analyst III. Joe joined National Life Group in February 2010 on the Product Implementation team. In 2015 he joined the Inforce Management Team. Joe independently supports many projects and writes specifications, creates test plans and test tools. He is instrumental in training his peers and embraces new projects and challenges. Currently he has taken the lead on the LIBR implementation project and through it has learned the Agile approach. In addition Joe serves all areas of the company through maintaining the Product Requests. His continued pronounced work ethic brings great value to National Life Group and exemplifies our servant leadership tenants.

Stephanie Burmester is pleased to announce the promotion of Erika George( no photo available) to Actuary. Erika joined National Life Group in 2006 as a commissions coordinator in ESI. She became an Actuarial Analyst in corporate actuarial in 2007 and transferred to product development in 2011. Erika has impacted many important initiatives at the company and she continues to take on more responsibility. Erika has become a go-to person for life product questions. Erika’s leadership on the specifications, filing, and implementation of FlexLife II was essential to bringing the product to market. She is currently representing L&A Solutions on the cross sell initiative to pilot the sale of term insurance to existing annuity customers.

Michelle Beilharz is pleased to announce the promotion of Bryan Ouimette to Actuarial Systems Analyst II. Bryan joined National Life Group in October 2013 as an Actuarial Systems Analyst I in the Product Implementation department. Since that time, Bryan has continuously taken on more responsibility in designing and updating test tools and in the creation and execution of test plans. In the past year, he has leveraged his engaging enthusiasm in learning the Vantage annuity tables and processing. And, he has expanded his cross-functional partnerships to include business partners familiar with the annuity product lines in order to help both annuity and life implementations proceed smoothly.
