We had a group of amazing agents in the building in Montpelier this week for our twice-a-year Practice Management Conference.

A total of 40 agents – 17 of whom have produced enough for us to qualify for President’s Club – were on campus for three days of intensive meetings. There were a half dozen or so managing directors along with them.

Most of the agents are relatively new to the company.

So this was an opportunity for them to learn some of the nuts and bolts of how to sell for National Life.

But it was also a time when they were able to learn a lot more about who we are and why we have developed the culture that we have.

They heard about the cause that drives us, that we’re a mission-driven, purpose-filled business. Part of the goal was to help them understand that Do good. Be good. Make good truly means something around here and informs everything we do for our customers, representatives, employees and the communities where we live and work.
