Josh Kruk To Join National Life As Deputy CIO

I am delighted to announce that Josh Kruk will be joining our Sentinel leadership team and will report directly to me as Deputy Chief Investment Officer (DCIO) on September 10th.

Josh comes to us from Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), where he has spent the last 6 years as Managing Director and Head of Stable Value Portfolio Management within the Global Fixed Income team.  He joined GSAM as part of the firm’s acquisition of Dwight Asset Management (DAM) in 2012, a firm he joined in 1999 as Structured Portfolio Manager.  Prior to joining DAM, Josh was a member of the Finance department at Bain Capital, Inc. for three years.  While at Bain, Josh provided accounting and analytical support for the company’s small cap hedge fund, BBO/CLO portfolios and private equity funds.  Josh began his career in 1994 as a Financial Statement Auditor for Price Waterhouse. LLP specializing in audits of mutual funds and other investment vehicles.

Josh earned his B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and holds C.F.A. and C.P.A. designations.  He is a member of the Vermont C.F.A. Society, where he serves as Treasurer.  Josh currently lives in Vermont with his wife, Sara, and two children, Kayla and Kelcie.

Please take the opportunity to warmly welcome Josh to our team.
