Senior Vice President Jason Doiron was appointed by CEO Mehran Assadi to the Executive Management Team.

I am very pleased to announce that Jason Doiron will be joining my Executive Management Team.
Jason is Senior Vice President & Chief Investment Officer of National Life Group. As CIO, he is responsible for managing all of our general account investments. Jason has also managed our Sentinel fixed income funds. During his nine years with the company Jason has been a key contributor to our strategy and our success, bringing a consistently high level of critical and strategic thinking to every assignment he has been given. Most recently, Jason led the investment optimization initiative, which was a focused effort aimed at updating and broadening our overall investment strategy. This was a critical project that will have a positive impact on our product competitiveness and financial performance for many years to come. In addition, Jason has built a very strong investment management team that I believe will be a difference maker for the company.
I am also pleased to welcome Achim Schwetlick to the executive team. As I announced last month, Achim joins National Life today as Senior Vice President and head of our Business Innovation Group. Prior to joining National Life, Achim was a partner for the global management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group. As head of the Business Innovation Group, Achim is responsible for our life and annuity strategy, product design, product marketing and business development.
I am fortunate to have such a strong Executive Management Team and look forward to working with all of them, and you, as we execute our strategy, achieve our 2020 Vision, and deliver on our promises.
