You might have noticed a team of people on the roof earlier this week. None of them appeared to be a super-hero.
Instead, they were a team of producers from Vermont Public Radio. And they were looking for our turkey vultures.
VPR has a program called “Outdoor Radio” in which a pair of biologists go out in the field searching for interesting wildlife.
The show caught word of the big turkey vultures that we often see around the Vermont campus. And so the production team scoped out the roof for a while searching for wildlife.
The program will air next Wednesday, May 16th at 6:20PM ET and the following Thursday, May 24th at 7:50AM ET. You can listen on central Vermont radio station 107.9 or via the VPR Website located here.
