You’ve been dying to get out in the garden and get your hands in the earth, right? But you’re not so crazy about finding the right place to put in your vegetables, or how many plants you need or when to thin and when to weed.

Well, we’ve got your solution. On the Montpelier campus, we’ve got a plot across the street from the main building where a group of our coworkers are organizing a community garden again.

They’ve been busy cleaning up the plot, clearing out last year’s leaves and vines and the other collection of ravages from the winter.

They’re also planning out this year’s garden. Plants will be going in when all chances of frost have gone by. But this is Vermont, right, so who knows when that will be.

At any rate, the organizers are eager to spread the gardening word and recruit some volunteers. Do you have any interest? The gardening team would love to hear from you. Cheryl Hulbert is the contact. Get in touch with her and get out there!
