FMG is “spreading the cheese” and feeding the hungry with their 1st Annual Mac-N-Cheese Competition, benefiting the Vermont Foodbank.

Fourteen National Life employees turned mac-n-cheese chefs brought in their favorite recipes, hoping to walk away with top bragging rights and all the cheesy glory.

Tasters participated by making a $5 donation to the Vermont Foodbank, which was generously matched by Greg Mateja and Eric Sandberg. Thanks to the amazing turnout, the event raised $2,000 overall!

The top chefs were:

First place – Patti Morrison with her Beddar Bacon Mac

Second Place – Jamie Salls with her BBQ Chicken Mac and Cheese

Third Place –  Jessic Kriewald and her Delux Kopy-Kraft
