All associates at National Life now have access to an online learning platform for Microsoft software.  QuickHelp was designed to help employees understand how to get the best out of their Microsoft technology.  You can find QuickHelp through the yellow “Microsoft Training” icon at the bottom of National Life Today or click here.

QuickHelp offers thousands of short videos focused on helping users develop skills for specific Microsoft applications.  A great video to get started with is this one, which is an introduction to the QuickHelp platform itself.  QuickHelp was also designed to work well on any mobile device.

To get more in-depth on any topic, QuickHelp has Skill Paths, which organizes one- to two-minute videos into courses.  Many of these courses have downloadable resources in addition to videos: walk-through documents that teach you more about specific concepts and practice files to reinforce your learning.  Along the way you’ll be asked “thinking questions” to reinforce concepts and “challenge questions” to help you apply what you’ve learned.

Here are some Skill Paths available through QuickHelp that almost any employee could get something out of:

QuickHelp also offers Events—register for one of these to get help from a live trainer who can answer your questions and teach you new tricks along the way.  You can watch a video presentation and ask specific questions to knowledgeable moderators via chat.
