Facility Related Updates

Here are some facility related updates for both campuses.

• EMaint and afterhours facilities notification protocol – if you have a non-emergency plumbing, heating, cooling, snow, ice, etc. issue, AFTER 4:00 pm please notify security at 249-1217 immediately and then submit the appropriate eMaint ticket (this will alert the entire appropriate team via email).

Security has the on call list for each area and will page and/or phone the proper staff of the situation.

For issues prior to 4:00 p.m. simply submit an eMaint ticket.

If an emergency, notify Charlie Cole 578-5302, Kelly Fournier 498-4472, Craig Strachan 249-5555, or myself 249-0404 immediately and we will take action.

• Functions/Setups – we ask that you give us at least two days’ prior notice for function/set ups.

Facilities typically needs ½ hour between functions to make the appropriate changes needed (based on complexity).

Remember to reserve the space in Outlook and include setup time prior to the meeting in the appointment.

Always add functions to  eMaint with the following information:

Date of event

Time

Room set up needs

How many attendee

If Condor (cafeteria), please note audio/video needs

• Emergency E911 Procedures – If someone is in need of medical attention, please dial 911 from a National Life Group desk phone.

This will automatically activate the internal Crisis Alert system and ring our first responders.

The Crisis Alert system will identify the extension that is calling 911.

Our campus first responders (if available) will then come to begin rendering aid until emergency services arrive.

Please do not attempt to find a first responder in the building to seek guidance in the event of an employee illness or injury.

Not calling 911 immediately can cause delays in necessary timely medical attention.
