It’s been an eventful week here at National Life! In between the usual hustle and bustle of corporate life, there were specks of bright colors moving about our offices.
NLIT hosted a combined St. Paddy’s and Holi celebration of spring, complete with Indian goodies.
While many employees donned green in celebration of St Patricks Day, others took the opportunity to partake in Holi, one of the more colorful festivals celebrated in Indian culture.
Originating back to the 4th century CE, Holi marks the beginning of Spring and is symbolic of the triumph of good over evil. It’s often celebrated by throwing vibrant colored powder in the air to spread joy and positivity.
While we weren’t able to get any photos of the whole Holi experience, we did catch plenty of people in the Vermont office sham-rocking the green!
