The Do Good Tour made a stop at The Heroes Sports Day in San Antonio, Texas, last weekend.
Linda Pineda from Pineda Insurance & Financial Services, together with team 120 set up our Do Good tent at the Nelson Wolf Municipal Stadium for the daylong event.
Activities at the event included a kid’s camp, a home run derby, and a softball game featuring the Heroes Sports softball team versus the San Antonio P.D.
During the event, the group raffled off a girl’s and boy’s bike and a kayak.
They also presented Heroes Sports Inc. with a check for $500 from the National Life Group Foundation.
The nonprofit’s mission is to provide returning military service members and veterans opportunities to participate in multiple sports, in order to help them maintain an active lifestyle, bond through teamwork and be active in their communities.
