The Do Good Garden, planned, planted and maintained by employee-volunteers, was a success this year.
As you’ll see in this video, it was a summer-long project.
All of the harvest was donated to Just Basics, the Montpelier Food Shelf, which distributed the fresh vegetables to residents of the area.
Congratulations to E.A.T. – the Employee Action Team – which took on the project as part of National Life’s focus on ending childhood hunger in Vermont.
The effort was coordinated by Charlie Maitland of the Facilities team.
