Our distribution team has been collecting a lot of frequent flier miles lately with appearances at kickoff meetings of our independent marketing organizations.
Our internal teams led by Senior Vice Presidents Louis Puglisi and Matt Frazee got together among themselves last week in New Orleans to review goals and get the year under way.
Team Captain Mehran Assadi was on hand to help lead the sessions.
Mehran also spent a lot of time with the agents at the kickoff of one of our largest partners, Premier Financial Alliance.
He continued to spread the message that because National Life is a mission-driven, purpose-filled company, we take our cause seriously. He has been encouraging the leaders of all of our important relationships to follow our lead through a #FindYourCAUSE campaign.
Similar messages were delivered when members of our teams participated in kickoff events with Alliance Group, Teachers Pension, and Curiman Brokers.
And why do we suggest that these kickoffs are generating a lot of frequent flier miles? Because members of our teams really are criss-crossing the country to meet with our most important producers, from New Orleans to Las Vegas to Atlanta to Sacramento.
It can be grueling work but the benefit of it can be seen when you look at the results we achieved in 2017. Building the relationships helps to build the business and ultimately the cause.
