As we continue to grow as an organization, it is critical that we place focus on the tools that support the success of our new and existing associates. One tool that is vital to any successful organization is its knowledge management, which supports accuracy, efficiency, and productivity, while minimizing risk. Given the value to us in CIG, we have created a new role to focus on documentation and knowledge management.
I am delighted to announce that Dan Batten will be joining the CIG Learning & Development team, effective September 16. Dan will be responsible for the CIG knowledge repository, iDiscover, and will be leading the charge of documentation and content management in CIG.
Dan joins us as a seasoned writing professional and knowledge manager. He has over 25 years of experience in corporate communications and technical writing. For the past 6 months, we have benefited from Dan’s experience and expertise as he has supported the ACE project on a contract basis.
Dan lives in Bristol, VT, with his wife and daughter. After living in eight states, Dan and his family have set down permanent roots in Vermont. He enjoys cycling in his free time.
Please join me in congratulating Dan on his new opportunity. We are so pleased to have him join our team, and I feel confident he will lead us to a strong level of content management in support of CIG and our associates.
