Last Weekend, Central Vermont held its annual Relay For Life event in support of the American Cancer Society.
The National Life team, “Dreamers for a Cure NLG”, was one of 35 teams raising funds to support cancer research, free patient lodging and patient transportation to and from treatment. The 12 hour event, held at Montpelier High School, is a celebration of fundraising efforts and those touched by cancer.
Dreamers for a Cure NLG raised just over $4,000 for the cause. Overall, a total of $93,006 was raised collectively – and counting!
