The Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation celebrated National Life this week as its “member of the year.”
The recognition is a new one for the CVEDC, which developed a new set of awards in honor of its 40th anniversary.
The agency, which has office space on the Vermont campus, works to help the region around Montpelier create new jobs and encourage business development.
Greg Woodworth, our senior vice president and general counsel, serves on the board of the corporation and accepted the award on behalf of National Life.
