National Life employees and their families volunteered over the weekend on our Dallas campus to host a “starter kit” drive.
This drive, hosted in collaboration with The Family Place, collected new and gently used items to help domestic violence victims rebuild their lives with what the agency describes as starter kits. The team filled the truck with cookware, bedding, and even refurbished laptops provided by our IT department!
Special thanks to Jessica Russo, who coordinated the drive, as well as Nimesh Mehta and his wife, Radhika Zaveri, who managed the on-site logistics. You all did good!
Would you like to support The Family Place, too? Good news! You can through our Share the Good campaign which opens on November 1.
Central Vermont Adult Basic Education received six tablets and six laptops this week thanks to the ongoing efforts of our IT department.
