CEO Mehran Assadi led a team from the home office over the past week to kick off 2018 with career agency leaders.

It was also an opportunity for annual business meetings between Mehran and Senior Vice President Pam Blalock and each of the career agency’s leaders.

Besides a lot of serious work that was conducted, there was also an opportunity to salute two longtime career agents who are retiring.

Jim Cook was a GA for 17 years and Rich Frontera was a GA for 27 years. Both of them will continue to sell for National Life.

During the meetings, agencies were presented with a variety of annual awards recognizing their accomplishments over 2017.

But the focus was on the future, much like the kickoff message that Mehran shared with all employees in January. We are dedicated to moving ever closer to our 2020 Vision of a million delighted customers.

Mehran and other key leaders from National Life fired up the career agents at the kickoff to work toward that goal and the mission-driven, purpose-filled cause that we are on.

Throughout we will be celebrating the strength of our company, which is built on a 170-year-old track record of keeping our promises and our values to do good for our customers and our teammates.
