After a two-year pandemic pause, the National Life / Let’s Grow Kids Kids Zone opened officially this week. The space, a former mauve-drab conference room,  was transformed pre-pandemic through a partnership between the National Life Group Foundation and Let’s Grow Kids, with help from Beta Technologies, the electric aircraft company.

Burlington Mayor Miro Weinberger, Let’s Grow Kids CEO Aly Richards, Acting Airport Director Nic Longo and our past CEO, Lead Director of National Life’s Board and Chair of the Foundation’s Board, Tom MacLeay gave remarks prior to the ribbon cutting. You can watch the press conference here.

National Life was also represented by Eric Sandberg, Nimesh Mehta, Dawn Minter, David Soccodato, Cathy Fisk, Chris Zimmerman, and the Communications & Community Relations team: Beth Rusnock, Darryl Garland, Christina D’Agostino, and Steve Dodge.

The guests of honor, however, were the passel of little ones who took right to the space, as well as the airplane-shaped cookies.
