It’s that time of year to make a decision regarding your bonus.
As in the past, employees can choose if they want a portion of their bonus contributed to their 401(k). New this year, employees who participate in our High Deductible Health Plan with the Health Savings Account, can choose to contribute a portion of their bonus to their HSA.
If you are receiving a bonus in March and would like a portion contributed to the 401(k), you must complete a separate Bonus Election. A maximum of 50% of your bonus can be contributed to your 401(k).
If you are receiving a bonus in March and would like a portion contributed to your HSA, you must make an election for the March 3, 2017 pay period. You can make a maximum of the HSA contribution limits of $3,400 for a single and $6,650 for a two-person or family.
You must make your elections by 3pm, Monday, February 27, 2017. Late contributions will not be processed.
