We have confirmation that spring is here, at least in Vermont. It’s been spring, practically summer, in Texas for quite a long time now.
Our proof? It’s National Bike To Work Week next week and the forecast is for warmer weather, little chance of rain (or snow) and plenty of sunshine.
National Life has a lot of resources supporting bicycling. Check out the summary of them.
And that gets us to thinking to when summer really will be here and the Harpoon Point to Point Presented by National Life Group.
Yes, we’re the presenting sponsor again this year of the ride that benefits the Vermont Foodbank.
And it’s time to sign up. National Life employees qualify for a 50 percent discount on the registration fee, although they’re responsible for the fund-raising obligation. Everyone who rides on the National Life Do Good Team – whether an employee, spouse, child or friend – will get a jersey from us.
Check out the ride website for details, including details of the 25-, 50-, 100-mile and mountain bike routes. If you’d like to sign up, contact Ross Sneyd or Tanya Culcleasure for how to qualify for the discount and get a jersey.
