CEO Mehran Assadi has challenged our field distribution partners to find and live their cause, just as we have done at the home office. And a team from Lakeshore Financial Group, the Upper Midwest career agency, took it to heart.
The team recently volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Hines, Illinois.
The group helped to host a Taco Tuesday night for the families that were staying at the house.
The house consists of 18 family-sized bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and 3 laundry rooms, which provides a safe and comfortable place for families from all over the Midwest to stay while their children undergo treatment at nearby hospitals.
The team helped with everything from collecting donations before the event, purchasing the groceries, and finally cooking and serving the families that were staying at the house.
As an added benefit, they were also able to enjoy the meal they prepared with the thankful family members.
