Our second National Life Agent Do Good Award winner is Vincent Mongare from American Classic Agency!
Jennifer Warfield, VP Independent Distribution, and NeAndre Broussard, Key Accounts Representative, had the privilege of presenting this award and a check for $7,500 to Vincent’s receiving organization: Global Connections Kenya.
Since 2007, this organization has been working to fulfill deficiencies faced by citizens of Kenya, such as inefficient water resources and a lack of uniforms for school aged children. As a native of Kenya, Vincent expressed that it is more of a duty than a privilege to contribute to the future opportunities of his home country. Vincent contributes his caring nature to his uncle who he said helped propel him to where he is today. He stated that he hopes to have the same effect on others by being “an uncle for someone else”.
He teamed up with Dr. David Angwenyi and the community and students of Hopewell Valley Central High School in Pennington, NJ to drive this effort. Global Connections Kenya allows students to take summer visits to Kenya to implement service learning projects, which promote educational diplomacy and broadens global perspectives.
Kudos to Vincent Mongare and Dr. David Angwenyi for continuing their efforts to make the world a better place!

National Life Group’s Agent Do Good Award recognizes an agent who is passionate about a cause and who has been making a difference in his or her community by Doing Good. Each year, two agents – one career agent and one independent agent – are awarded $7,500 to the cause of their choice. The Career Do Good Award was presented earlier this year.
