On the Addison Campus, the Focus Rooms have been upgraded to contain desktop computers just like all the other conference rooms.  These computers work well with Skype.  We encourage our Addison associates to return to booking these Focus Rooms for individual Skype calls.

While it is in the conference room standardization plan to put a computer in everysingle-user occupancy conference room, we started with the Addison Focus Rooms because associates frequently used these rooms to make individual Skype calls to the Montpelier campus.  The prior configuration in these rooms started having issues with Skype, though, after being upgraded to Windows 10 about six months ago.  These problems lead associates to book larger conference rooms for their individual Skype calls.  With this computer upgrade, the Focus Rooms should once again be the preferred selection when booking Skype calls, freeing the larger conference rooms for meetings with more participants.
