We are pleased to announce a number of promotions and actuarial exam success recently. Please join us in congratulating these individuals on their well-deserved achievements.
— Sent on behalf of Sook Hoon Koh — I am pleased to announce that Rachel Ramirez has been promoted to Actuarial Analyst II. About 3.5 years ago, Rachel joined NLG as the intern for the Inforce Management team, then rejoined NLG as Actuarial Analyst I in Product Implementation after graduating from TCU. While she was in the product implementation team, she worked on implementing new products/features, and inforce/new business illustrations for both life and annuities on the illustration system. In August of 2018, Rachel joined the Annuity Valuation team where she is responsible for both Stat/GAAP monthly/quarterly reporting basis, and experiences studies for NL Annuities business. During her time in Annuity Valuation, she was instrumental in implementing the new AAA scenario generator, new tax code law changes, and is currently implementing the PBR VM 21 changes to the VA reserve regime. She has been one of the most consistent and efficient members in respect to meeting deadlines, helping her peers on understanding the business, and living the NLG values by volunteering herself to be part of the FMG Spirit committee. Please join me on congratulating Rachel on her well-deserved promotion
