Al Foice, Chief Auditor, made the following announcement about the retirement of Dave Archambault.
It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Dave Archambault’s last day with National Life Group will be Friday, April 30, 2021, after over two decades of leadership and dedicated performance. Dave will join his lovely wife Gail in retirement. If you know Dave, he manages his activities by keeping a list – and he has a long list of activities that he will do with his family – notably his grandson Finn. I’ve had the pleasure to work with Dave for nearly 30 years and consider him a dear friend. Dave has always lived his life with a servant’s heart. He recently retired as an EMT for Milton Rescue and as a member of the NL medical first response team. Many at NL may remember Dave as the familiar face responding to emergency medical calls here on the Vermont campus assisting others in need. Dave made the halls of National Life a comfortable place with his friendly smile, jovial personality and quick wit. He is an avid Yankee fan often entertaining himself, and sometimes others, by teasing Red Sox fans (especially Patti Brown) all season long. Knowing Dave as I do, he will be golfing, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family at their camp. If you share in the same activities, reach out to him as I’m certain he would enjoy connecting with his NL friends.
We will be celebrating Dave’s retirement – like we have for many recently – using ZOOM on, April 28th at 2:00 p.m. If you want to participate in the ZOOM meeting please reach out to Eve McCluskey and she will forward the meeting notice. All are welcome.
Thank you,
Al Foice
