We will begin a limited, voluntary return to both campuses beginning on April 5.
This first phase of the return to office will include those who are already currently approved to work on campus as well as the group of volunteers who were on the approved list when the voluntary program was suspended in November as caseloads spiked nationally.
Plans are also being made to expand the pool of voluntary returns in May. We anticipate accepting additional requests to voluntarily return to both campuses beginning in May.
Expanding the number of people permitted on each campus in May will be dependent on viral trends, as well as rates of vaccination in the general population.
The Corporate Emergency Response Team is monitoring those trends and its decision will be guided by them, as well as guidance from the public authorities in Vermont and Texas.
Anyone returning to either campus must continue to abide by Covid-19 protocols implemented by the Business Continuity team, which include wearing masks, observing social distancing, and attesting that anyone who enters our buildings has been abiding by health guidelines.
Anyone who was on the approved list at the time of our suspension of voluntary work at the office and who wishes to be removed should reach out to Matt Brockett or Bill Funk. That will enable them to better plan for others’ returns and ensure there is adequate social distance around work stations.
People returning to campus who were not on-site regularly should also check in with Matt or Bill before returning, even if they’re on the approved list, to make sure their badge has been reactivated.
Everyone who is approved to return to campus will receive a confirmation email from the Business Continuity team before the close of business today. If you don’t receive an email and believe you should be on the list, please reach out to Matt or Bill.
