The holiday toy drives will be wrapping up soon on both campuses.
In Vermont, there are boxes in the main lobby where you can drop off new, unwrapped toys.
It’s part of the Toys for Tots program that is run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves.
You can drop off items that are sealed in shrink-wrap or something similar if they’re DVDs, CDs and the like. But Toys for Tots doesn’t accept toy weapons of any kind, gift cards or food.
In Texas, the Santa Cop Toy Drive runs through Dec. 15. The Addison Police Department is the sponsor of the drive.
There two donation boxes in the ninth floor employee lounge.
Donations need to be new, unwrapped toys. All donations will be collected by Addison Police Officers and they will set up a mobile Santa’s Pop-up Village at various locations around town. This will allow officers the opportunity to interact with children and families while they deliver the toys.
