Our Employee Matching Gift Campaign – Share the Good – is back again, and this time it’s better than ever! This year, the Foundation will match your donation in any amount from $1 – $2,000 for up to 4 organizations. Every dollar counts!

We’ve got a brand new form for you to fill out to pledge your donation(s), making it quick and easy to give to your favorite nonprofit(s). The Foundation will match what you give, dollar for dollar.

The pledge you make now will be taken through a payroll deduction in January 2020 as one lump sum or as 26 biweekly payments – your choice! You can also choose how many nonprofit organizations you’d like to give to, up to four total. Plus you can choose how much you want to give; every dollar makes a difference to your favorite charity! Give anywhere from $1 to $2,000 and we’ll match it.

Your donation including the match will be sent to nonprofits in January 2020 along with a letter to the nonprofit(s) with your specific contribution information.

Our Share the Good Campaign runs from November 1st – November 30th. ***Only donation pledges made during this time using our online form will be accepted.***

Keep an eye out for the link that will go live on November 1st on National Life Today! For questions, reach out to Allison Steinmetz.

Want to know more about how Share the Good makes a difference? Check out one example, shared by our colleague Dawn Minter:

“Nana was a giver. As far back as I remember, every December she would purposefully give my brother, sister, and I money to give “to those less fortunate.” She educated us on local options as well as taking us to places where we could give to homeless people on the street. Unfortunately, my Nana never met my husband or children but she continues to inspire our annual giving tradition.

Through a former Share the Good campaign,  I have proudly given to the following organizations. These organizations are so grateful to National Life’s Foundation for doubling the impact of my gift.

Here’s my why and their missions:

Connecting mind and body through beauty.  Flynn Center for Preforming Arts  plays a pivotal role in building and sustaining our thriving and diverse community by providing opportunities for learning, creative expression, and civic engagement for all.

Fostering healthy places and food sources for the future. Vermont Land Trust  protects farms, forests, habitat, water, and places to get outdoors. They work to make land more accessible to farmers and communities.

Human wellbeing–women/girls who inspire me every day. Vermont Works for Women helps women and girls recognize their potential and explore, pursue, and excel in work that leads to economic independence.”
