For the fifth consecutive year, National Life Group is the presenting sponsor of the COTS Walk, an annual event that focuses attention on homelessness. We’d love to have you join us and show the community how we do good and live our cause every day!
This year’s walk will be held this Sunday, May 5th. There are two options, either a 3.5-mile walk or a 1-mile walk.
Both are designed to put walkers in the shoes of someone who is homeless. They follow the route a person without a home might travel through downtown Burlington to connect with COTS shelter and services.
Please consider walking, and also stop by the National Life table! (Look for our big green tent.) We’ll be there in support of COTS, sharing our do good message and some give-a-way Do Good Fest frisbees!
About 2,000 walkers of all ages, from businesses, schools, social and religious organizations, and neighborhoods come together from all over the region to participate in the annual COTS Walk.
The COTS Walk has two purposes: To raise public awareness about homelessness in our community and to raise money to support COTS shelters and services for Vermonters who are homeless or are at risk of losing their homes.
