As you have no doubt noticed, the work to remove the crumbling wall in the back lawn area in Vermont is complete and we are now looking forward to the next phase of the project which will include some exciting new aesthetic enhancements!
In the coming weeks, the area will be fine graded and seeded with grass. For those who enjoy one of Vermont’s biggest summer pastimes, two new horseshoe pits will be added nearby. A beautiful pollinator garden will be planted next to the building, and some of the trees in and around the woodline will be pruned or removed (depending on tree health) to clean things up. Finally, the large crabapple trees behind the cafeteria will be removed as they have outgrown their space and have become more difficult to prune and maintain. New crab apple trees will be planted in their place. The goal is to get this work done early in the spring season so folks can enjoy the finished product all summer long.
