Have you made plans for the next month? Our annual Do Good Month of spring volunteer activities starts on Monday.
Maybe you can take a moment now to look through all of the activities that the Volunteer Committee has organized in Vermont and Texas. A briefer list is below and that link gives details.
There are links where you can sign up for the different opportunities. We’re hoping to be able to fill all of the slots we’ve organized, if possible.
For quick background, as we all know National Life gives each of us 40 hours of paid time to go out in the community to volunteer at a nonprofit.
Volunteering is a great time to get to know teammates and coworkers in a very different setting and to build teams and camaraderie.
It’s also a way for National Life to live our values to Do good in the communities where we live, work and play.
National Life contributes financially to many of the nonprofits where we’re volunteering. But there’s only so much money to go around. Volunteering is another way to make our resources go farther.
Our goal over the next month is to record at least 850 hours of National Life time in the community. So please be sure to go to the Volunteer Time Tracker on National Life Today (look for the image at left on the front page of NL Today) – and to UltiPro if you record your time there – so we can keep track of how much good we do!
