Employees’ favorite charities are beginning to get a Share of the Good that National Life does in our communities.

The contributions that employees made to nonprofits – and that the National Life Group Foundation matched – are being delivered now.

Foundation President Beth Rusnock and several others from National Life personally delivered big checks to a couple of charities this week.

The presentations were made to the Humane Society of Chittenden County in Burlington and Spectrum Youth and Family Services, also in Burlington.

A total of $541,654 is being sent to charities as a result of our annual program.

The nonprofits that received the most in donations were:

  • Vermont Foodbank: $22,970
  • Central Vermont Humane Society: $15,283
  • St. Jude’s Research Hospital: $8,723
