This year’s Strategic Thinking Initiative class formally graduated during an event on both campuses that also recognized the Execution Leadership Institute and the Sentinel Investments Leadership Institute.
The three programs are part of National Life’s focus on moving more fully into being a learning organization.
“To deliver on our promises and be a performance, profit and purpose driven organization for 170+ years, we have leaned heavily on learning,” CEO Mehran Assadi said.
As Jackie Freiberg is highlighting in her current culture sessions on the Vermont campus that will be repeated in Addison next week, learning is at the foundation of moving National Life forward.
To that end, the Learning Loop section of National Life Today has been established as a central repository of our efforts to Learn, Apply, Teach, which correspond with our values to Do good. Be good. Make good.
Among the features on the Learning Loop site are links to the videos that the STI, ELI and SILI participants created as part of their coursework.
Congratulations to the more than 150 teammates who spent time immersed in learning over the past year, who are now poised to help spread their learning throughout the company.
