Susan Jennings Leads Sessions for CASBO (Colorado Association of School Business Officials).
Having just been named chair of the distinguished Texas Association of Life & Health Insurers (TALHI), Susan Jennings, Senior Counsel National Life Group Law, hopped on a plane and led a powerful session regarding the “New DOL Overtime Rules” for the Colorado Association of School Business Officials, CASBO, on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at The Village of Breckenridge, Breckenridge, Colorado.
Touching on a very timely and sensitive topic for the association, many came out commenting that this was the best session ever. The nearly two-hour workshop covered not only the new DOL overtime rules affecting employers, but also clarified the DOL’s Fiduciary standard, Garnishes and Levies, and finished with a lively discussion on Retirement Plans.
Many notes were taken and many questions were asked by the audience that enjoyed having such a distinguished speaker at their event.
