NLIT started off the year with a goal and a challenge to help the National Eagle Live Program.
This began at their Kick-Off to 2018 Town Hall Meeting led by Michael Morey, which fell on National Save the Eagles Day.
Michael saw this as an opportunity to Do Good. Working with the Eagle Live Program, he challenged his teammates to raise $1,000 to provide a school trip to the National Eagle Live Program, giving kids an opportunity to understand history, habitat and beauty of these majestic creatures up close and personal.
Thanks to all the efforts of the NLIT, they were able to reach their goal and send the check this week.
But the challenge didn’t stop there! Michael tasked everyone to create one creative slide outlining the status/facts about bald eagles in the State of Texas.
The winners would then get to adopt a Bald Eagle with a Do Good, Be Good, Make Good Certificate. After many submissions and much deliberation, the winners are Jeeva Kuppusamy and Devon O’Hare.
Great job and thank you to all who participated!
