A new health and wellness center will open on the Vermont campus next month.
CEO Mehran Assadi announced at this week’s all-employee meeting that the center is designed as a pilot project with Cigna, our health insurer.
If it is a success, National Life will look at how to expand the concept to the Texas campus.
When it opens, the health and wellness center will offer:
- Minor office based procedures
- Routine Physical
- Episodic Care- sprains, strains, sore throat, ear infections, headaches, just not feeling well
- Acute Care — Full history and exam, lifestyle risk assessment, preventative care and coordination
of referrals to the community into the healthcare system efficiently - Flu Vaccinations/Immunizations
- Monitor chronic conditions
- Preventative Health Screenings
- Biometric Screenings
- Laboratory Services
- Health and Wellness programs
Gov. Phil Scott has been invited to join Mehran for a ribbon-cutting at the center next month.
