In this time of giving and of thanks, we think we owe some gratitude to the hundreds of National Life employees who so frequently live our Do Good values by volunteering at nonprofits.
So the volunteer team got together with the National Life Foundation to make the thanks and the giving tangible. Here’s what they came up with.
The volunteer team is combing through the reports in UltiPro to find our most dedicated volunteers, those who use their full allotment of 40 hours a year. (Turns out there are quite a few who get to 40 hours, by the way.)
Then the volunteer team will randomly draw five names from that list. Our Foundation has agreed to make a $200 donation to those volunteers’ charities of choice as a way of saying thank you.
This drawing will take place on Dec. 15. So you need to be sure to record your hours, especially your volunteer hours, in UltiPro so you’ll qualify.
Have you forgotten to record your hours? Reach out to Joy Driscoll or Laurie Morrill in the People Center if you need help.
